All heavy motion control rigs only use straight track. However, we can easily program perfect arcing camera moves that orbit around your subject as if it was on curved track. Generally, the longer the reach of the rig, the more degrees of rotation the camera can achieve.
With a perfectly flat floor on a soundstage, we can get a Bolt up and ready to shoot in as fast as 30 minutes. Environment variables can be a factor in the setup time. However, factors such as track length, manpower, obstructions and what not can affect the set up time. After consulting with you and learning about your project, we’ll be able to provide a time that can be safely factored into the production schedule.
The Bolt requires 3-Phase 115/208 stage or generator power, camlock or L21R. The JR+ and the Milo can run off of two 115v 20 amp Edison plugs from a lunchbox or wall outlet.
The Bolt can fit through a residential doorway. In contrast, the colossal Milo Long Arm is suited for big blockbuster movie action involving car chases, explosions, and flying super heros.
