Track
Got a really long camera move? No problem!
Additional track is available in 10ft sections, and we have plenty.
Handwheels
Bridging the gap between traditional feature film operating and moco tech!
MRMC Handwheels allow control of the head just like a Technocrane or Arri Gear Head.
An operator can operate the pan, tilt, and roll while the rig runs along a programmed path.
The live input can be played back, or even modified for speed and smoothness.
This ‘Mimic’ workflow can similarly be used to record and playback the lens motion from a focus puller using their own wireless hand unit.
Game Controllers / Hand Held Box
We can hook up the MRMC Handheld box, joysticks, Spacemouse and even XBox and Playstation controllers to move our rigs around.
This is great when the operator computer station needs to be hidden around a corner, or for working with very tight clearances on a crowded set.
Laser Bloop Light
Projects a small laser dot onto the scene as a timing reference point for editorial/VFX.
This is an upgrade from the original Bloop Light which was an LED that had to be physically placed within the frame of the shot.
Trigger Box & Extra Motor Controllers
Want to make sure that big explosion happens in the best part of the camera move!?
We can take inputs and send outputs to synchronize with SFX controllers.
They can trigger the movement of the camera, or we can trigger SFX department’s controllers through precisely timed contact closure relays and auxiliary motor controllers.
Synchronized Video Assist
We have a streamlined workflow to Record, Playback and Synchronize the live camera movement to video playback!
This is extremely useful when lining up subjects for multi-pass composites and match-moving
We can key blue & greenscreen in real time, and comp with CGI renders.
Several Clean and Composite outputs are provided to route to AC, DIT and VFX so that everyone can have their desired video feed the way they want it.
iPad Mimic
The iPad mimic workflow has proved extremely useful when used for stunt choreography.
We can hand an MRMC Tracker equipped iPad to the camera operator, director, DP or stunt coordinator - they can capture the sequence though the built in viewfinder screen, then we can import their movements and refine and adjust if necessary to run on the rig.
This iPad can also be used to control a rig in Real-Time. The movement scale can be adjusted so that small motion on the iPad equates to large motion of the rig!
Motion Sensor Trigger
It’s basically a garage door sensor on steroids.
Think of it as an invisible laser trip line like from Mission Impossible.
This is useful when a move needs to be triggered with precise timing for a subject already in motion, such as a car driving past, or a person running (or flying, crashing through the ceiling).
It can also be used as a Stop Trigger, which can be useful for adding additional safety measures if a blocking mark is missed by a live subject.
Turntable
We have turntables options suited for both tabletop and live action CGI/VFX that can be programmed to run with our Moco Rigs.
